Natalie and Luke’s wedding is one of my all time favorites. Hard to believe this was years ago! Something I always have tried to make sure I accomplish on wedding days, are timeless photos. While my editing has changed a little and of course I have learned a lot and improved as a photographer, my images still work with my style and brand. My clients weren’t given a trendy spin that is no longer relevant and I captured their day as it happened.
We actually never met before the wedding. This was a destination wedding for them so Natalie and I communicated via phone and email up until I met her on her wedding day. I arrived at her hotel to begin our day and immediately was welcomed by their bright and cheerful faces.
Everyone was in amazing spirits and I knew the day would be wonderful. Natalie and Luke chose to do a first look before their ceremony and I am so glad they did. We found a break between the rain to bring Natalie out and Luke was speechless. I loved watching the exchange between them and how they both relaxed as soon as they saw each other.
Their ceremony took place at a close family friends house over looking the water and sunset.
As soon as they were married they were taken on a sunset boat ride for their first moment as husband and wife. I stayed back and photographed their cocktail hour. Having a first look means a couple can actually have a moment to themselves! I had such a hard time selecting the photos for this blog so I decided to share a lot. Enjoy!
